Dr. Susan Tighe, PhD, PEng, FCAE, Past President of CSCE will give a presentation on Leadership in Civil Engineering.  Susan has gained national and international recognition for her outstanding contributions to the development, design, and management of sustainable concrete and asphalt transportation infrastructure. She has been involved with projects in Africa, India, Chile, India, China, Australia, New Zealand and throughout North America and is an author of over 400 technical publications in pavements and infrastructure, including being the principal investigator on the 2013 Transportation Association of Canada Pavement Asset Design and Management Guide.  She will discuss her experience working as a civil engineering in the public sector, private sector and academia.  The intent of the presentation is to share best practices.
